Privacy Policy

Cow a Cow (“we”, “us”, “the App”) is a puzzle game available on the web and as a mobile app on Google Play and the Apple App Store. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

The App is operated in connection with the Cow a Cow service at cowacow.com. For privacy questions, contact us at info@globalseocreativeltd.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you play, we may process:

  • Account information — If you sign in with Google, we receive an ID token and basic profile details Google shares with us (such as display name, email, and profile photo, when provided). If you sign in with Apple, we receive an identity token and, when you choose to share them, your name and email (Apple may provide a private relay address). If you sign in with Telegram, we receive the Telegram user id and profile fields returned by Telegram Login.
  • Guest / device identifier — If you continue as a guest, we create a random device id stored on your device and sent to our servers so progress can sync.
  • Gameplay & progress — Clears, ranks, country/region team choice, locale preference, daily/challenge seeds, and similar game state needed to run the service.
  • Local preferences — Settings such as mute and language may be stored locally on your device (for example in browser or app storage).
  • Technical data — Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, time) when your device talks to our API, used for security and reliability.
  • Advertising — The web version may show first-party managed promotions or AdMob ads where configured. Web ad providers may collect device and advertising identifiers under their own policies. The Android and iOS apps do not include AdMob or another third-party mobile advertising SDK.

We do not ask for your precise GPS location, contacts, or microphone access.

3. How we use information

  • Provide and sync the game across devices after login
  • Authenticate you (Apple, Google, Telegram, or guest)
  • Power leaderboards, daily challenges, and friend challenge links
  • Show or measure ads and revive / share features
  • Prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve stability
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process data to perform the contract of providing the App, based on your consent (for optional sign-in and ads where required), and for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service.

5. Sharing

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that host our API and infrastructure (for example cloud / Heroku-style hosting)
  • Sign-in providers — Apple, Google, and Telegram, when you choose those buttons
  • Ad partners when ads are shown
  • Authorities when required by law, or parties involved in a merger/sale of the service

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

Account and progress data are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, and legal requirements. Guest device ids and local storage remain until you clear app/browser data or sign out in a way that rotates the guest id. Server logs are retained for a limited operational period.

7. Security

We use HTTPS for app–server traffic and industry-standard practices to protect tokens and accounts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children

Cow a Cow is a general-audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) without appropriate parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Your choices & rights

  • Play as guest without linking Apple, Google, or Telegram
  • Sign out; guest progress may start fresh on a new device id
  • Clear local storage / uninstall the app to remove local data
  • Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data by emailing info@globalseocreativeltd.com — for full account deletion steps, see Delete your account
  • On Android, review Google Play advertising / ad-personalization settings on your device. On iOS, use Settings → Privacy & Security for related system controls (this App does not request App Tracking Transparency for ads in the native build)

10. International transfers

Our servers and providers may be located outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Third-party links & SDKs

Sign-in, share sheets, browsers, and ads may open or call third-party services governed by their own privacy policies (including Apple, Google, and Telegram). Review those policies when you use those features.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
